Atkins diet is the diet for reducing an over weight in the term of reducing the carbohydrate consumption. As we know that carbohydrate has the main substance of our food which can increase our weight easily. It means, by eating much of carbohydrate, it will be easy for you for having an over weight. And as the opposite, it will be easy to reduce the over weight by reducing the carbohydrate consumption. It is actually difficult to do because the energy that we need comes from the carbohydrate. In Atkins diet, it will be provided for you how the way to get a normal energy without consuming carbohydrate much. It cannot be judge that you must avoid to consume the carbohydrate. It is only reducing or changing. You can change your menu into low carbohydrate substance but it still produces the energy for you. So, by changing the high carbohydrate into low carbohydrate, it will be the effective of Atkins diet. It will not make your body in a low energy, but it has in a low risk of over weight.
